A truly exceptional first flush Darjeeling tea, crafted through years of experimentation and refinement to create a tea unlike any other. Produced in extremely limited quantities from carefully selected, B-157 buds, this rare tea is entirely handcrafted, with no machinery involved at any stage of production.
Following harvest, the tender leaves are gently hand-rolled and carefully shuffled through multiple light oxidations over several hours. This meticulous process preserves the freshness of the spring leaf while developing remarkable aromatic complexity, elegance, and depth. Though delicate in appearance, it is not a white tea; the leaves undergo a gentle hand-guided oxidation that gives the tea its distinctive character.
The finely plucked leaves brew into a bright golden liquor with captivating aromas and extraordinary clarity. Smooth and refined, it is remarkably free from astringency, allowing its sweetness and complexity to shine through with every sip. Designed for multiple infusions, the tea evolves beautifully with each successive brew, revealing new layers of aroma and flavour.

Ilíos teas are sourced from selected tea gardens in Darjeeling, India, one of the world’s most renowned tea regions.
The high altitude, cool climate, and unique growing conditions of the Himalayas allow the leaves to develop their distinctive aroma, smoothness, and layered taste.
Each tea reflects the garden and season it comes from.

Tea is a consumable product, so we do not accept returns or exchanges once an order has been shipped to maintain quality and safety standards.
